Makai Fruits is committed to and supports fair trade programs and practices. While creating an infrastructure that allows for business to thrive, the local communities and the local economy has been able to grow. By developing mutually beneficial relationships with the residents of various harvesting areas, the local people have taught us how to identify the best crops and how to properly harvest them. In return we have been able to provide them with a year long sustainable and fair income.
